Freightliner Displays an Impressive "Mix" of Hard-Working Trucks at World of Concrete

The innovative Freightliner display allowed attendees the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and get familiar with the newest mixer equipment and trends that will drive improved Real Cost of Ownership℠ for their businesses.
Visitors to the Freightliner booth (C-5527) had access to a variety of mixers for evaluation including:
- 114SD Chassis/Cab with Simard Twin-Steer System: Freightliner partnered with Simard Suspensions of Baie-Saint-Paul, Quebec, to offer a turnkey solution that's ideal for heavy duty applications such as crane, dump, wrecker, mixing and logging. Providing a comfortable and reliable ride, the severe duty twin-steer chassis offers a stable platform for increased truck efficiency and performance.
- 114SD Set-Back Front Axle Truck with Beck Industrial Mixer—114SD: The 114SD SBA features a lightweight, yet durable steel-reinforced aluminum cab with a 48-inch bumper-to-front-axle setting for optimized weight distribution and turning ability for more productive ready-mix operations.
- 108SD Set-Back Front Axle Truck with Holcombe Volumetric Mixer: Equipped with a Cummins ISL REPTO engine, this mixer is ideal for remote locations, oil and gas industries and construction companies. A true concrete plant on wheels, this mixer allows you to pour what you need without wasting material.
Freightliner's leadership in the vocational truck category was on full display at World of Concrete. Several other Freightliner Trucks were featured by truck equipment manufacturers at the show. These included a Freightliner 114SD bodied up with their M 38-5, 38-meter concrete pump at the Putzmeister (booth C5727). Alliance Concrete Pumps (booth C6460) displayed three Freightliner M2 106 trucks, all equipped with various concrete pumps at their exhibition. Adding to the mix, Pro All (booth N1125) featured a 108SD equipped with their volumetric mixer body.
2015 was the largest World of Concrete show in more than six years, with more than 630,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor exhibit space and more than 1,300 exhibitors. Targeted areas of the show floor focused on industry segments such as Producer Center, Technology for Construction, WOC General/Material Handling, World of Masonry, Concrete Repair and Demolition, Surfaces and Decorative, WOC General, and Outdoor.
