When it comes to installing power lines and maintaining the electric grid, utilities count on reliable and versatile vocational trucks to help get the job done. Freightliner Trucks will display its latest utility truck solutions at the International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE) in Louisville, Kentucky, from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1.

Freightliner is a leader in providing a range of trucks ready for upfit to meet a variety of demanding utility jobs. The Freightliner M2 106, 108SD and 114SD, featuring bodies designed by some of North America’s leading truck equipment manufacturers, will be on display at outdoor booth space N-3003 at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

Freightliner plans to have its climate-controlled mobile hospitality unit at the ICUEE show so customers can relax in air-conditioned comfort, enjoy a cold drink and discuss their vocational truck needs with knowledgeable experts.

“Utilities count on their trucks to be able to handle tough terrain, inclement weather and demanding work environments, all while providing linemen with a safe platform from which to install new power lines or repair damaged equipment,” said Joye Whitlow, medium duty segment manager for Freightliner Trucks. “Reliability, flexibility and durability are what set Freightliner Trucks above the competition and make them so popular with utilities across North America.”
