This newest generation of Detroit Assurance Suite of Safety Systems brings enhanced active safety and driver comfort features to the Freightliner Cascadia. The collision mitigation system includes all-new radar cameras and software and increases the number of sensors from two to five for expanded capabilities, including the identification of stopped vehicles on angles – tracing slowing and stopped traffic around curves in the road and detection of vehicles at any angle.
